ObjectivesTo evaluate the effects of physical exercises on the vision of students in China.MethodsTrials of the effects of physical exercises on students' vision were retrieved in databases of CNKI, WanFang Data, VIP, Web of Science, EBSCO, PubMed and The Cochrane Library from inception to September 2019. Two reviewers independently screened literature, extracted data and assessed risk of bias of included studies. Meta-analysis was carried out with RevMan 5.3 and Stata 13.0 software.ResultsA total of 8 studies including 681 students in the experimental group and 679 in the control group were included. The results of meta-analysis showed that physical exercises were beneficial to improving students' vision (SMD=1.02, 95%CI 0.90 to 1.13, P<0.000 01). The results of subgroup analysis showed that physical exercises in the elementary school students group (SMD=1.361, 95%CI 0.873 to 1.850, P<0.000 01), long period (>24 weeks) (SMD=1.502, 95%CI 0.984 to 2.019, P<0.000 01), medium frequency (3 times/week) (SMD=1.631, 95%CI 1.022 to 2.240, P<0.000 01), and short time (<90 min) (SMD=1.410, 95%CI 0.758 to 2.062, P<0.000 01) had superior results.ConclusionsPhysical exercises have beneficial effects on improving vision. Limited by quantity and quality of subjects, the above conclusions requires verification by more high-quality studies.
ObjectiveTo analyze the long-term effect on cardiopulmonary resuscitation skill between video-led and scene simulation training and traditional instructor-led courses in medical student with eight-year program.MethodsNinety-nine medical students with eight-year program who studied in Peking Union Medical College were trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation skill from January to February 2018. They were randomly divided into two groups, 53 students participated in basic life support course training, which belonged to video-led and scene simulation training as the trial group, and 46 students were trained by traditional instructor-led courses as the control group. In January 2019, the above 99 students were re-evaluated for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and the outcome of cardiopulmonary resuscitation skill test in total scores and sub-items scores between two groups were compared. The data were analyzed using t test and Wilcoxon rank sum test.ResultsThe total average scores of the trial group (8.02±1.11) was higher than that of the control group (6.85±1.50) (P<0.05). The sub-items scores of the trial group in the three aspects of on-site assessment, chest compressions and simple respirators (1.64±0.37, 3.38±0.46, 1.52±0.58) were higher than those of the control group (1.33±0.45, 2.80±0.76, 1.19±0.58) (P<0.05). In terms of opening airway, there was no significant difference in scores between the two groups (1.02±0.47 vs. 1.10±0.45, P>0.05). The excellent rate of the trial group (60.3%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (30.4%) (P<0.05), and the unqualified rate (5.6%) was significantly lower than that of the control group (21.7%) (P<0.05).ConclusionsThe video-led and scene simulation training has a better effect on cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills acquisition and long-term maintenance than traditional instructor-led courses for medical student with eight-year program.
ObjectiveTo understand the adaptation condition of undergraduate nursing students at the early stage of enrollment so as to provide reference frame for the development of college students' adaptability and mental health education. MethodTotally 75 full-time baccalaureate nursing students were recruited from a comprehensive university by convenience sampling method In November 2014. Adaptation condition was investigated with China College Student Adjustment Scale (CCSAS). Statistical analysis methods were applied to analysis differences of the adaptability of college and its various dimensions scores in general data statistics. ResultsThe average score of adaptation ability was (206.88±31.02) points. There were significant differences in the level of getting along with their parents and confidence in nursing speciality (P<0.05) , while no significant differences were found among students in gender, nationality, only China one students, students' regions and reasons of choosing nursing speciality (P>0.05) . ConclusionsThe current adaptation situation of nursing undergraduates freshmen should be improved. It is necessary to carry out a series of targeted activities for the entrance education of college students to promote the adaptability of university life.
Objective To investigate the psychological state of college students in the areas affected by the Wenchuan earthquake. Methods A total of 562 college students were selected by stratified random cluster sampling. A self-designed questionnaire as well as Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) were used for survey. Results The SDS scores (46.16±11.95) and SAS scores (34.60±6.50) of the college students were significantly higher than those of the national norms (Plt;0.001), while the SSRS scores (40.46±8.76) were lower than those of the national norms (Plt;0.001). The scores of SSRS and its three dimensions were positively correlated with the SAS scores and were negatively correlated with the SDS scores. Conclusion The college students in the areas affected by the Wenchuan earthquake suffer from anxiety and depression disorders. Good social support is one of the important measures to maintain their mental health.
目的:调查在校医学生对医疗相关法律法规及医患关系的认知,为医学生教育提出建议。方法:使用自制调查问卷,对四川大学华西校区不同专业方向及学历层次的在校医学生进行整群随机抽样,将所得数据录入计算机建立数据库,进行统计分析。结果:(1) 在对医疗法规相关知识的知晓率上,研究生高于本科生,临床相关专业高于非临床相关专业;(2) 医学生对医疗法规相关知识及医患关系的认知主要来自于课外,来自于课堂教学的很少,并且大多数医学生支持开设相关法律课程;(3) 过半数的医学生认为医患沟通不足是导致医疗纠纷的首要原因;(4) 大多数医学生认为目前医患之间存在信任危机,且这种状况对他们今后的择业观造成了负面影响。结论:在医学生中开展相关医疗法律课程等人文学科课程是符合当前国内医疗卫生事业发展需要的。
The central aim of this experiment was to compare the articulatory and acoustic characteristics of students with normal hearing (NH) and school aged children with hearing loss (HL), and to explore the articulatory-acoustic relations during the nasal finals. Fourteen HL and 10 control group were enrolled in this study, and the data of 4 HL students were removed because of their high pronunciation error rate. Data were collected using an electromagnetic articulography. The acoustic data and kinematics data of nasal finals were extracted by the phonetics and data processing software, and all data were analyzed by t test and correlation analysis. The paper shows that, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05 orP<0.01) in different vowels under the first two formant frequencies (F1, F2), the tongue position and the articulatory-acoustic relations between HL and NH group. The HL group’s vertical movement data-F1 relations in /en/ and /eng/ are same as NH group. The conclusion of this study about participants with HL can provide support for speech healing training at increasing pronunciation accuracy in HL participants.
ObjectiveTo systematically review the trend of tuberculosis among Chinese students. MethodsPubMed, Web of Science, EMbase, CBM, WanFang Data and CNKI databases were electronically searched to collect cross-sectional studies on the incidence and trend of tuberculosis among students in China from inception to August 2021. Two reviewers independently screened literature, extracted data and assessed the risk of bias of included studies; then, meta-analysis was performed by using Stata 15.0 software. ResultsA total of 97 cross-sectional studies were included. The results of meta-analysis showed that: the overall incidence of tuberculosis among students in China was 18.63 per 100 000 persons. The incidence in the northwest, south, northeast, north, east, central, and southwest 46.81, 11.22, 24.38, 12.77, 12.03, 18.95, and 39.26 per 100 000 persons, respectively. The incidence among university students, senior high school students, junior school students, and primary school students 38.17, 33.84, 8.85, and 1.68 per 100 000 persons, respectively. ConclusionCurrent evidence shows that the incidence of tuberculosis among students in China is high. Among them, the incidence rate of tuberculosis in the central and western regions, universities and high school students is relatively high.
