  • Application of Evidence-based Care in Respiratory Passage Administration of Patients after Incision of Trachea

    目的:探讨循证护理在气管切开术患者呼吸道管理中应用的效果及措施。方法:将104例患者随机分为观察组和对照组各52例。观察组重点从“气道湿化、肺部物理疗法、吸痰、气道感染的预防、口咽部护理”几个方面进行循证,获取最佳证据,指导临床护理,对照组按传统护理法。结果:观察组患者并发症的发生率、死亡率显著低于对照组,患者及家属对护理工作的满意率明显提高。结论:运用循证护理能减少患者并发症的发生,降低病死率,提高生存质量。

  • Summary of best evidence for prevention and management of joint dislocation after total hip arthroplasty

    Objective To summarize the best evidence for prevention and management of joint dislocation after total hip arthroplasty (THA) and provide evidence-based support for reducing the occurrence of joint dislocation after THA. Methods The databases and websites related to prevention and management of joint dislocation after THA were searched, mainly including clinical decisions, guidelines, expert consensuses, evidence summaries, systematic reviews. The search period was from January 1, 2020 to April 30, 2025. Results Finally, 12 articles were included, including 2 guidelines, 4 systematic reviews, 4 clinical decisions, and 2 evidence summaries. The 5 dimensions of evaluation, preventive measures, early dislocation identification, daily activity recommendations, and health education were summarized and organized into 25 pieces of evidence. Conclusions The overall quality of the evidence related to the prevention and management of joint dislocation after THA summarized in this study is good. Medical staff should selectively apply the evidence based on clinical situations to develop safe, scientific, and personalized anti-dislocation plans for patients, in order to reduce the occurrence of joint dislocation and improve patient prognosis.

  • Best evidence of non-pharmacological interventions in community elderly with sarcopenia

    Objective To evaluate and summarize the evidence related to non-pharmacological interventions in community-dwelling elderly with sarcopenia and to provide an evidence-based basis for guiding community health professionals to effectively manage older patients with sarcopenia. Methods We searched all evidence about non-pharmacological interventions in community-dwelling elderly with sarcopenia from BMJ Best Practice, UpToDate, Guidelines International Network, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network, Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario, Canadian Medical Association Clinical Practice Guidelines Infobase, American Society for Nutrition, Australian JBI Evidence-Based Health Care Centre Database, CINAHL, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CBM, CNKI, WanFang Data and VIP Databases. The types of literature included guidelines, expert consensus, systematic reviews, evidence summaries and meta-analyses. The retrieval time ranged from January 1, 2019 to May 31, 2024. Results A total of 14 publications were included, including 2 guidelines, 3 expert consensuses, and 9 systematic reviews. Twenty-four pieces of evidence were summarized in 3 areas, including screening, assessment, and non-pharmacological interventions for sarcopenia. Conclusion We summarize the best evidence for initial screening, systematic assessment, and comprehensive non-pharmacological interventions for elderly patients with sarcopenia in the community, and provide a guidance and reference for community medical staff to efficiently manage elderly patients with sarcopenia.

  • Clinical Evidence on Nursing Care for Patients with Pressure Sore

    Objective To investigate the current status of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and clinical controlled trials (CCTs) on pressure sore in China. Methods We searched Chinese Journal of Nursing, Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing and Journal of Nurses Training in CNKI and VIP (January 2000 to December 2005) for Chinese articles on pressure sore, using "pressure sore", "bed sore", "nursing", "treatment", "prevention", "evaluation" and "management" as search terms. The retrieved articles were summarized. Results We identified 16 reports (10 RCTs and 6 CCTs). The studies were judged to be of low quality.There was one study on the evaluation, two on the prevention, and 13 on the treatment of pressure sores. Conclusion The current studies on pressure sore in China are focusing on treatment. Randomized controlled trials of large sample size of pressure sore are needed to improve nursing quality.

  • Summary of best evidence for fall prevention after total hip arthroplasty in elderly patients

    Objective To retrieve and summarize the best evidence for fall prevention after total hip arthroplasty in elderly patients. Methods BMJ Best Practice, UpToDate, JBI evidence-based healthcare center database, National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network, Cochrane Library, PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCO, International Collaboration of Orthopaedic Nurisng website, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons website, European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery website, Medlive, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, Chongqing VIP, and SinoMed were systematically searched. The retrieval time was from the establishment of the databases to June 30, 2024. The quality of literature was evaluated, and evidence was extracted, evaluated, and summarized. Results A total of 12 articles were included, including 4 guidelines, 2 randomized controlled trials, 2 cohort studies, and 4 expert consensus studies. A total of 18 pieces of evidence were extracted, including 13 A-level recommendations and 5 B-level recommendations. The evidence covers six major themes of risk factors, assessment, multidisciplinary team support, health education, medication management, safety environment, and assistive devices. Conclusions The fall prevention after total hip arthroplasty in elderly patients involves multiple factors, and the fall prevention should be based on multidisciplinary team cooperation, achieving linkage between the hospital and the family to jointly ensure patient safety. In the future, it is recommended to combine individual patient differences with actual clinical scenarios when applying evidence.

  • Summary of best evidence for early enteral nutrition in patients with severe acute pancreatitis

    Objective To evaluate and summarize the relevant evidence of early enteral nutrition in patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), and provide evidence-based support for the clinical practice of early enteral nutrition in SAP patients. Methods The evidence on early enteral nutrition in SAP patients from relevant databases and websites was retrieved using computer. The retrieval deadline was from the establishment of the databases to December 31, 2024. Two researchers independently conducted literature screening and quality evaluation, extracted and summarized evidence. Results A total of 14 articles were included, including 6 systematic reviews, 7 guidelines, and 1 expert consensus. A total of 19 pieces of evidence were compiled and summarized from 9 aspects, including early enteral nutrition feeding assessment, start timing, feeding route, catheterization method, infusion method and speed, energy and protein targets, nutrient preparation selection, complication prevention and management, and health education. Conclusion The overall quality of evidence for early enteral nutrition in SAP patients is good and has strong generalizability. Medical staff should select evidence based on clinical contexts and develop safe, scientific, and personalized enteral nutrition plans for patients to promote their recovery.

  • Evidence-based care of an oldman’s bedsore

    Objective To seek evidence based methods to treat bedsore of aged patients. Methods We raised clinical questions according to the condition of an eighty-year old male patient, and then, with "bedsore" (treatment or prevention) as key words we searched evidences from Cochrane Library (2nd edition 2002), Medline (1996-2002.4), and Sumsearch. Results We found 3 SR (systematic review) from Cochrane Library, 3 Meta-analyse and 38 RCT (randomized controlled trial) from medline, and 3 SR and 9 RCT from Sumsearch. Conclusion 1 Various types of mattress are useful in prevention the bedsore. 2 There is still not enough evidences of electromagnetic therapy. 3 In state II bedsore, healing is faster in using collagen Dressing than using water-glue Dressing. 4 Local application of antibiotics and Phenytoin sodium can accelerate the growth of new granulation tissue. 5 Nutritional support is necessary for bedsore prevention and healing. According to these evidence, we make the best care plan for this patient. After our treatment, the wound healed 10 days later, and he doesn’t occur bedsore any more.

  • Nursing practice guideline for enteral nutrition in patients with stroke

    Enteral nutrition can improve patient’s nutritional status, reduce the incidence of complications, and promote the patient’s rehabilitation. For patients with stroke, enteral nutrition is the first choice for nutritional support. Nurses not only participate but also play important roles in the whole process of nutrition management in stroke. Therefore, standardizing the nursing practice in enteral nutrition and developing nursing guideline in line with Chinese clinical practice is of great significance. In the guideline, 18 key clinical questions had been established via the Delphi method, and for each question, detailed recommendations had been constructed. It is expected to provide clinical standards for enteral nutrition in patients with stroke, and to improve the nutritional management and disease prognosis of stroke patients.

  • 循证护理在预防隆胸术后并发症中的应用及效果

    目的探讨循证护理方法在预防隆胸术后并发症中的效果。 方法将2011年1月-2012年8月56例行隆胸术的患者,按入院先后顺序单双号分为循证组和对照组各28例,循证组根据循证结果,采用循证护理方法,制定并实施预防并发症的针对性护理措施;对照组采取常规护理措施进行术前准备、术后注意事项及出院指导。比较两组患者发生出血/血肿,感染,假体移位、破裂、渗漏,纤维包膜挛缩,心理障碍等并发症的情况。 结果循证组患者术后出血/血肿1例,感染2例,心理障碍和纤维包膜挛缩各1例;对照组术后出血/血肿4例,感染5例,假体移位2例,心理障碍和纤维包膜挛缩各3例;循证组总的并发症发生率明显低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。 结论采用循证护理的方法,能明显减少隆胸术后并发症的发生,有利于促进患者早日康复。

  • Effect of Evidence-Based Nursing Education on the Critical Thinking Ability of Nursing Students

    Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing education on the critical thinking ability of nursing students. Methods One hundred and two junior college nursing students participated in this study. They were divided into the experimental group and the control group. All of them received standard clinical nursing practice training, and students in the experimental group also attended evidence-based nursing training. All the students completed the Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory before and after training. Results Students in the experimental group had improved critical thinking ability compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (Plt;0.05). Conclusions  Evidence-based nursing education can improve the critical thinking ability of nursing students.
