Objective To approach the clinical characters and therapeutic methods of retinal detachment(RD) after extracapsular catarat extraction(ECCE)with posterior chamber intraocular lens(PCIOL). Methods Sixty eight cases(68 eyes) of RD after ECCE with PCIOL were treated with sclerel buckling, microvitreo retinal surgery and intraocular gas, silicone oil injection and were reviewed. Results The retinas were totally reattached in 65 eyes(95.59%) which dropped to 94.12% in 6-60 months postoperatively. The resultant rate of visual acuity of the eyes with 0.1 or better was 79.41%,with 0.3 or better was 26.47%. Conclusion The main causes of RD after ECCE with PCIOL are similar to those of general RD,and most cases of RD after ECCE with PCIOL can be cured by surgical treatment. 【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the effects of lumbar pad on bed patients who uhderwent percutaneous coronary intervention operation. Methods The 50 patients who uhderwent percutaneous coronary intervention operation in our deparment from July to December 2008,then randomly divided into experimental group(25 patients)and control group(25 patients). Control group were received conventional care, the experimental group were received lumbar pad based on the conventional care. The second day after operation, the patients were scored by visual analog scale test method (VAS). Results The VAS scores of experimental group was lower than control group, the difference was statistically significant (Plt;0001). The differences of other complications between two groups except fidgety were not statistically significant. Conclusions Coronary intervention after surgery, the patients in peripharyngeal braking to bend lumbar pad material can reduce the waist ache degree.
Objective To determine the expression of the growth factors and the receptors related to angiogenesis in the intraocular tissues incarcerating in the sclerotomy sites. Methods Ten specimens from prolapsing intraocular tissues in sclerotomy sites during vitrectomy were obtained and serially sectioned in cryostate and were stained with a group of polyclonal antibodies against vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), platelet-derived growth factor-A(PDGF-A) and transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1) as well as their receptors by using a streptavidin peroxidase system. Results The tissues prolapsed from the sclerotomy sites were identified as retina(3 cases), vitreous tissues(3 cases), degenerated red blood cell components(2 cases), ciliary body(one case) and fibrous tissue(one case). All specimens expressed VEGF and bFGF as well as their receptors. PDGF-A, TGF-β1 and their receptors expressed in the most of specimens. The positive cells included retinal cells, ciliary non-pigmented epithelial cells and pigmented epithelial cells, fibrous cells and the cells in vitreous. Conclusions The intraocular tissues incarcerated in the sclerotomy entries express the growth factors and receptors related to angiogenesis. This might be one of the potential factors of developing anterior proliferative vitreoretinopathy. (Chin J Ocul Fundus Dis, 2002, 18: 34-37)
ObjectiveTo investigate the surgical complications and its influence factors of radical surgery in the treatment of elderly patients with colorectal cancer. MethodsTwo hundreds and sixteen patients with colorectal cancer who were treated in the Second People's Hospital of Lianyungang City from January 2010 to September 2014 as the research object, the clinical data were collected by the self-made general data questionnaire, and they were analyzed by descriptive statistics and logistic regression analysis using SPSS 19.0. ResultsFor elderly patients with colorectal cancer radical operation, pulmonary infection and wound infection were the common complications.Single factor and logistic regression analysis showed that medical comorbidity, hypoproteinemia, operation time, Dukes staging, and smoking were risk factors of postoperative complications in the colorectal cancer patients. ConclusionFor elderly patients with colorectal cancer underwent radical operation, pulmonary infection and wound infection are the common complications. It's occurrence by various factors.
