目的 了解血液科护士在对患者抗肿瘤药物治疗护理过程中的防护现状。 方法 2009年12月-2010年3月对血液科一、二病区和骨髓移植层流病房的护理人员,采用便利抽样方式进行问卷调查。 结果 血液科化学疗法防护现状与国际水平有差距,护理人员虽有一定的防护意识,但仍较薄弱。 结论 加强护理人员化学治疗药物毒性及防护知识的教育,提高防范意识,并制定严格的防护措施及管理制度是确保护理人员职业安全的根本与途径。
Objective To survey the knowledge of hand hygiene among nurses and to identify factors influencing the performance of hand hygiene.Methods A questionnaire of hand hygiene developed according to the Guideline for Hand Hygiene in Health Care Settings was used to investigate nurses’ knowledge about hand hygiene.Results The average score for nurses’ knowledge about hand hygiene was 18.59±2.19 out of a possible maximum score of 21. Knowledge about hand hygiene among nurses varied significantly in different departments (P=0.004). The main self-reported factors influencing the performance of hand hygiene were irritation and dryness caused by hand-washing agents (73.44%) and busy workload (65.53%).Conclusions Nurses generally have good knowledge about hand hygiene but are less aware of some hand hygiene indications. Effective measures are needed to improve compliance with hand hygiene among nurses.
Objective To investigate the core competencies of emergency specialized nurses and the influencing factors in Sichuan Province so as to provide a basis for improving the training systems. Methods The trainees who received specialized training in West China Hospital every March and September between 2012 and 2014 were investigated with questionnaire survey. Results A total of 270 questionnaires were given out, and 246 valid questionnaires were retrieved. The scores of emergency specialized nurses’ core competencies ranged from 165 to 258, with an average of 214.55±22.56. According to the scores, 4.88% of the emergency specialized nurses’ core competencies were at a low level, 67.07% were at a middle level and 28.5% were at a high level. The influencing factors of core competencies included education, professional title, position, level of hospitals and years of working experience in the emergency department. Conclusion Core competencies of emergency specialized nurses need to be further improved and the training systems need to be improved consistently.
In the management of diabetic nephropathy patients with hemodialysis, diabetes link nurse (DLN) can realize the continuity of nursing management, simplify the communication between multiple disciplines, and play multiple roles such as relieving patients’ psychology, participating in scientific research and clinical management. In this paper, by introducing the origin and development status of DLN in foreign countries, and summarizing the function and clinical contribution of DLN in the management of diabetic nephropathy hemodialysis patients. This article combines the current development status of DLN in China, to arouse the attention of clinical nursing colleagues, and provide some reference for the management of diabetic nephropathy patients with hemodialysis and the training of DLN in China.
ObjectiveTo explore low-seniority nurses' attitudes regarding adverse events reporting. MethodA total of 200 low-seniority nurses were investigated with the Chinese version of Reporting of Clinical Adverse Events Scale from October to December 2013. Epidata software was used to collect and manage data and SPSS 17.0 software was applied to analyze the collected data. ResultsThe nurses who once witnessed or experienced adverse events accounted for 76%, of whom 74.3% reported adverse events. The mean score of reporting of clinical adverse events among low-seniority nurses was 48.5±7.2. Age was positively associated with the global scores of reporting of clinical adverse events, when compared with other variables (r=0.20, P=0.01). ConclusionsOverall, low-seniority nurses' attitudes toward reporting adverse events are negative. Age is positively associated with attitudes toward reporting adverse events. Therefore, a non-punitive culture should be established and an efficient reporting system is good to enhance the quality of care.
